This year, it takes place from Monday 26th February until Sunday 11th March, and the aim is to promote the benefits of Fairtrade. Chester Coffee Services are pleased to announce a notable increase in sales of Fair Trade products over the past few months. Thanks to new accounts with Nottingham University, who regularly purchase Fair Trade Organic beans, and Chester Zoo's new coffee shop, we have see an increase in Fair Trade products across the board, including beans, recyclable cups, and more.

More and more people are aware of the environmental impact of modern farming methods and this is reflected in sales figures: UK sales for Fairtrade products topped £45m in 2001, growing by 50% each year. All of Cafedirect's coffee is brought directly from farmer co-operatives at a price that allows for the profitable harvest of their crop. This enables farmers to invest in their farms and communities, and make plans for the future.

Products

Medium roast coffee is made with 100% Arabica, and delivers a mellow, refreshing taste with a smooth aroma, clearly balanced acidity and a hint of toasted spice.

The organic espresso pod is an individually sealed serve of ground coffee. Much more simple to prepare than loose coffee, just place the pod in the arm of the coffee machine and create a perfect cup of espresso coffee.

Made with 75% Arabica and 25% Robusta, these pods are a premium blend of intensely roasted beans to give a bitter-sweet espresso with tremendous body.

Also available is their loose bean coffee, a rich fusion of Arabica and Robusta.

5065 is a freeze dried coffee, a smooth tasting premium coffee expertly blended and roasted. It is also available in the form of decaffeinated organic sticks.

TeaDirect have available a rich, rosy chestnut brew in a variety of formats, plus an Organic Earl Grey option, and CocoDirect offer an exquisitely rich and smooth chocolate drink.
