The Chester Coffee Services Cafe: (from left to right) Marie Warrington, Margaret McDowall, Helen Jones (all volunteers from the Chester Hospice) and Howard Dodds, Sales Director, Chester Coffee Services April 2005 - The Chester Hospice raised over £600: thanks to the Chester Food & Drink Festival and Chester Coffee Service's donation of coffee and tea. The Hospice kindly ran the stall which proved to be very popular, especially on the opening day, Bank Holiday Monday (28th March). Situated at the end of the marquee, where visitors could sit and relax with a cup of Lavazza coffee or Twinings tea, the stall ran for three days as part of the Taste Marquee. Chester Coffee's Sales Director Howard Dodds visited the stall, and had his picture taken with volunteers from the Hospice, Marie Warrington, Margaret McDowall and Helen Jones (see picture above). Chester Coffee also supplied Lavazza coffee and Twinings & After Dinner Mint tea for the Gala Dinner prize-giving ceremony, which included the Best Café/Coffee Bar, sponsored by Chester Coffee Services in association with Lavazza. End: 139 Chester Coffee Services is a family-run business which has been established since 1988, and is the largest independent distributor of Lavazza espresso in the UK. They distribute to group accounts nationally, but are the preferred partner in the North.
