Choc-o-laté, from Barry Callebaut, is a tempting liquid chocolate which is quick and easy to use, and most important of all, tastes absolutely delicious!
Ideal for professionals as a great time saver, Choc-o-laté is a brand new, revolutionary, ready-to-use essence for quick and easy preparation of popular chocolate drinks and desserts. This rich liquid contains 22% dark chocolate and so has an overwhelming chocolate taste and a deep, dark, warm colour.
It’s ready-to-use: no cutting, melting, tempering or anything else needed! Just pour the right Choc-o-laté dose from the handy 1 Litre Tetra Pack and use it pure or mixed with other ingredients.
Recipe Ideas
Create delicious Chocolate drinks, cocktails, milkshakes, ice cream and much, much more!
Choc-o-late Ice - Blend a small amount of Choc-o-laté with vanilla ice cream and milk. Use as little or as much Choc-o-laté for the perfect, frothy milkshake!
Wake Up Shot
- Mix 1 shot of Choc-o-laté (60ml) with 1 shot of Lavazza espresso, and pour into a cup. Top up with milk foam
Choco Macchiato - Pour 1 shot of hot Choc-o-laté (60ml) into a small cup. Top up with milk froth.
Hot Delight
- Heat 1 shot of Choc-o-laté (60ml) mix with hot Lavazza espresso and hot milk (60ml of each). Pour into a straight cup.
Choc Cafe Glace - Pour 1 shot of Choc-o-laté (60ml), 1 Lavazza espresso (60ml) and 2 ice cubes blend in a blender, mix, and then pour into a long glass. Gently pour 20ml of cream into the glass.
